This article had a few different people being bullied on it but the most interesting person was Sarah Palin. There were countless videos on youtube with Sarah Palin and her interviews on Saturday Night Live. She was being humiliated online and made fun of because of these incidents.
I don’t think they should have done that to her because she was a good person inside. She didn’t always show her intelligence on nation television. People say that she has a high IQ but after seeing some of the videos it really makes you think if she really did have a high IQ or not. I was never a fan of her but I still don’t think it was right that people made fun of her on the internet.
Nothing really happened to Sarah Palin though because there were plenty of supports of her so that counter-acted the bullying. I think it still hurt the candidacy with all the negativity that was imposed on the internet. There were more then just one person bullying her so I don’t know what happened to the people that bullied her.
This could apply to our school. Our principle could be made fun of on the internet or something like that. There are plenty of ways people could do that to anyone across the world with the internet. The internet has made bullying so easy to do it’s kind of sad. People just need to leave each other alone.

Being famous comes with threats and people saying mean things and spreading things about you that isn't true.

First of all, who would bully the person running for vice president of the United States???? That's just dumb. I do agree with what you said.

ReplyDeleteSarah Palin shouldn't even worry about what people say on the internet. I dont't know why anybody would worry about what was said about them on the internet.
ReplyDeletePolitical icons and celebrities are probably used to this kind of harrasment. There will always be someone that does not agree with you are does not like you for some odd reason. Sara should not acknowlegdge these people, it would give them unneeded popularity and cause more of these videos to be produced.
